2006 BREACHES P400 MILLION MARK

Philippines 2006 showed that for the
first time in its 32-year history,
the MMFFP grossed more than P400 million
in its two-week run.
The total gross for
this year’s filmfest was P414,506,353—P63
million more than the total gross
receipts of MMFFP 2005. Metro Manila
theaters accounted for P302,708,946
while provincial grosses totaled P111,797,407

week of the 14-day filmfest.
