The 35th edition of the Luna Awards of the Film Academy of the Philippines will be held tentatively on Saturday, July 29 at 6 p.m. at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo, Cubao, Quezon City.

Winners will be given Luna awards in 12 categories even as eight special awards will also be awarded during the awards event.

The citers for the Luna Awards have already submitted their ratings in 11 various categories after eight days of screening 16 films, from May 23 (Tuesday) to May 26 (Friday) and May 30 (Tuesday) to June 2 (Friday).

The official accounting firm of the Academy is now collating the results to come up with the official list of final nominees for the 11 categories—from best director to best sound.

The fourteen films which were screened by the citers who came from the various guilds under the umbrella supervision of the Academy were the following:

–Dukot, produced by Ten17P and Star Cinema

–Pamilya Ordinaryo, produced by Found Films

–Tuos, produced by One Big Fight Prod. and Purple Pig

–Ang Hapis at Himagsik ni Hermano Puli, produced by T-Rex Entertainment Productions

–Ma’ Rosa, produced by Centerstage Productions

–Sunday Beauty Queen, produced by Tuko Productions, Butchi Boy Entertainment and Artikulo Uno Productions

–Seklusyon, produced by Reality Entertainment

–Vince & Kath & James, produced by Star Cinema

–Mrs., produced by Sinag Maynila

–Ned’s Project, produced by Unitel and Sine Pilipino

–Ignacio de Loyola, produced by Jesuit Communications Foundation

–Patay na si Jesus, produced by T-Rex Entertainment Productions and Epic Media

–Pauwi Na, produced by Ellen Ramos and Paolo Villaluna

–Die Beautyiful, produced by Regal Films, IdeaFirst Co., and October Train Films

–Saving Sally, produced by Ricket Sheep Studfio and KB Studio

–2 Kool to be 4gotten, produced by Alemberg Ang
