The Alamat sa Animasyon contest of Film Academy of the Philippines is now on their post-production stage.
Last October 22 at the Mowelfund Plaza’s Bulwagang Jose Nepomuceno, the last seminar-workshop of the said contest was held. Mr. Jan Yolec M. Homecillo, a multimedia professor at De La Salle-St. Benilde, discussed with the students the basic process of post-production and demonstrated some basic techniques he used in After Effects, a computer program. Also present in the seminar was project director, Icon De Jesus who assisted him during the group consultation of the participants.
After the talk, FAP Director-General Leo Martinez discussed with the students the possible scoring of their animated films with the help of musical director members of the Pilipino Musical Directors Association, Inc. (PILMUDA).
Nine participants have already submitted their final draft output for music and sound effects lay-out. Seven others are stilli in the process of completing their final draft as required before the final polishing and submission.
The final submission of Alamat sa Animasyon contest will be on December 31, 2016 through DVD format, with the contest rules as guide.
