2014 LUNA AWARD CITERS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT LIST by fapweb  |  Posted in Articles  |  on Fri, Jan 23, 2015

Citers of the Film Academy of the Philippines may now submit their lists of the 10 best achievements in the various categories of the Luna Awards. Their lists will be forwarded to the nominators who will then pick the five final nominees.

Citers who were designated last year as card-bearing MTRCB deputy agents are presumed to have seen the local films that were exhibited in commercial cinemas last year.

The 10 best achievements lists cover the four performing categories, directors, scriptwriters, cinematographers, production designers, editors, musical scorers and sound engineers.

This year’s award ceremonies—tentatively slated in March—will cite achieve-ments for 2013 and 2014 as the Academy did not hold its award rites last year.

Citers may be guided by the list of 2014 films rated A by the Cinema Evaluation Board of the Film Development Council of the Philippines. These films were shown in commercial cinema circuits throughout the country.
