As of the second week of July, four local films—led by now all time top grossing It Takes a Man and a Woman—are included in the top 22 box office winners. Inspite of the inundation of big-budgeted American films, the Star Cinema romantic comedy, top-billed by Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz, ensconced itself in the number 2 slot.

Here are the top 22 films in the local box office as of mid-year (with box office gross in dollars):
