A four–day workshop on the complete workflow of digital film creation will be held from June 28 to July 1 at the SM North The Block Cinema. This will be a joint undertaking of the Film Academy of the Philippines, the National Cinema Association of the Philippines and the Multimedia Entertainment Arts Foundation Inc (MEA).
MEA President Tony Reyes said the target seminar participants include film practitioners, producers, exhibitors, educators and film students. Several foreign and local experts will be the resource speakers during the workshop.
A tentative schedule of the four-day workshop follows:
Day 1 (Friday, June 28)
Camera Anatomy/The Camera & the Cinematographer, 9 a.m. to noon
Acquisition Format, 1 to 3:15 p.m.
On Site Data Management, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Day 2 (Saturday, June 29)
Lab at First Sight/Digital Lab Process, 9 a.m. to noon
Offline, 1 to 3 p.m.
Data Conform, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Day 3 (Sunday, June 30)
In Living Color/Color Grading, 9 a.m. to noon
Post Production and Sound, 1 to 3:15 p.m.
Online, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Day 4 (Monday, July 1)
The Big Picture/DCP Mastering, 9 a.m. to noon
DCP Logistics and Replication, 1 to 3:15 p.m.
Other Releases Formats/Data Archiving, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
