The 14th Cinemanila International Film Festival has been re-scheduled to December 5 to 11 and will be the third consecutive year that Taguig City under Mayor Lani Cayetano is hosting the filmfest.
The filmfest highlights will feature the exhibition of A-list entries from various international film festivals, as well as full-length films under the Digital Lokal Section and short films under the Young Cinema Section.
The main venue of the film showings will be Market! Market! cinemas at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
There will also be a Young Cinema Night outdoor screenings at the Bonifacio High Street on Dec. 7 and the Red Carpet Harana Awards night at the Bonifacio Global City amphitheater on Dec. 8.
According to the Cinemanila website, the following entries have been selected for the two local cinema sections of the filmfest. These are:

Colossal by Whammy Alcazaren
Taglish by Gym Lumbera
Obscured Histories and Silent Longings of Daguluan’s Children by Teng Mangansakan
Ang Paglalakbay ng mga Bituin sa Gabing Madilim by Arnel Mardoquio
Supremo by Richard Somes
Supremo is scheduled for showing on Nov. 30 to commemorate the day of Andres Bonifacio.
The following prizes will be awarded: Digital Lokal Lino Grand Prize and Digital Lokal Best Director.
YOUNG CINEMA SHORTS LINEUP:
Aurora, My Aurora by Janus Victoria
Ang Prinsesa, Ang Prinsipe at si Marlborita by Carl Papa
Kabilang Dulo by Bienvenido Ferrer III
Unawa by Pamela Llanes Reyes
The following prizes will be awarded for this section: Best Short Film and the Ishmael Bernal Award.
