The Film Academy of the Philippines will hold a general assembly to discuss and formulate a possible recruiting program for the various guilds under its umbrella supervision to attract new members into their associations.
It is tentatively scheduled on December 15 (Saturday) or 16 (Sunday) at the Mowelfund Plaza.
FAP Director General Leo G. Martinez says the recruitment must focus on young film technicians and workers and even those involved in the production of indie films as well as television series or made-for-TV films who are still not card-carrying members of the guilds.
The following guilds will be involved in this program:
–Katipunan ng mga Artistang Pilipino sa Pelikula at Telebisyon (KAPPT), headed by Philip Salvador
