MGA ARTISTA SA 2013 ELECTIONS by Corie Henson  |  Posted in Articles  |  on Wed, Oct 17, 2012

Former Philippine president Joseph Erap Ejercito Estrada now running for mayor of Manila. With him is Marichu Maceda of Sampaguita Pictures

In the same boat si E.R. Ejercito a.k.a.

Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos Recto is a reelectionist governor of Batangas province. With her is former Marikina mayor Marides Fernando.

The race to watch is the contest for Cavite vice governor. From Barangay captain ay tatakbong vice governor si Jolo Revilla under the wings of incumbent governor Jonvic Remulla of the Magdalo party.

Take note that Jodi Santamaria is the ex-wife of Pampi Lacson, the younger brother of Jay. And Jodi is now being linked to Jolo.

Dating board member Christopher De Leon is touted to win a congres-sional seat in Batangas. Mas magiging effective daw siya sa congress. Joko Diaz is aiming for a board seat in Batangas.

For Laguna board ang tinatakbuhan ni Dennis Padilla. Since there are 3 board members kaya hindi niya kalaban si Angelica Jones.

Joey Marquez hopes to be a congressman of Parañaque while Imelda Papin of Bicolandia is a candidate for represesentative of Bulacan. Other congressional hopefuls are Alfred Vargas in Quezon City and Onemig Bondoc in Bataan.

Reelectionist din si Alma Moreno sa Paranaque at another attempt for Ryan Yllana bilang councilor of the same city.

In 2010, Amay Bisaya filed a COC for senator but was deemed by Comelec as a nuisance candidate. Now it is the turn of Victor Wood to run for senator of the country.

MTRCB chair Grace Poe Llamanzares with the author. Grace is running for a senatorial seat in the tickets of both UNA and the Administration coalition

For a more serious candidacy, showbiz has Mary Grace Poe Llamanzares who just resigned her post as chair of MTRCB (Movie and Television Rating and Classification Board). Grace is a guest candidate of both the Administration party and UNA.

In UNA, there is Migz Zubiri, a showbiz friendly senator.
