Dialogues must be in Tagalog (which means translation of dialogues in the nine English short stories). Shooting direction may be in English or Tagalog.
Entrants may submit multiple entries.
Screenplays written by up to two people may be entered in the contest. Both writers’ names should be listed on the online entry. But indicate the writer who will be the primary contact first, and include the address, telephone, and email for that person only.
Contest entrants retain all rights to their screenplays. Entries will not be returned. Be sure to retain a copy of all material submitted.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you agree that you have read the General Rules of the contest and that you have the authorization to submit this screenplay to the Sine Panitik Contest.
Submit four hard copies of the screenplay on or before 6 p.m., August 15 to the Film Academy Office at the OctoArts building on Panay Street (behind the National Bookstore Quezon Avenue branch). Entries may also be sent thru e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org. But hard copies must still be submitted.
A three-man board of judges will choose the seven best screenplays adapted from seven different short stories. Each winning screenplay will receive P20,000.00 (subject to withholding taxes). The scriptwriters, however, will still receive talent fees as scriptwriters during the production of the Sine Panitik film trilogies.
