The winners in the essay-writing contest on the gender sensitive films of the last Metropolitan Manila Film Festival were announced recently by the Gender Development Resource and Coordinating Office (GADRCO) of Quezon City.
The winners in the Teachers’ Category are the following:
First Prize (P10,000)—My Wife: Partner in Life (My House Husband) Jaylor G. Fajardo of Judge Feliciano Belmonte Senior High School
Second Prize (P7,000)—Padre de Pamilya: De Buena Pamilya, Mama Mia, Sangkaterbang Problema (My House Husband) Patrocinia C. Tiongson of Lagro High School
Third Prize (P5,000)—Naytay ng Pamilya (My House Husband) Zenaida P. Galo of Lagro High School
The winners in the Students’Category are the following:
First Prize (P10,000)—Under the Saya: Kering-keri basta hapi ang family (My House Husband) Kobee Louwyn C. Tiongson of Lagro High School
Second Prize (P7,000)—Shifting Tasks (My House Husband) Daniella Elish B. Goco of Quezon City Science High School
Third Prize (P5,000)—Karapatan: Tanging Yaman sa Lipunang Hinirang (Enteng ng Ina Mo) Gilbert A. Santos, Jr. of Maligaya High School
