The following won the awards in the 7th Cinema One Originals Filmfest during awarding ceremonies held at the RCBC Theater at the RCBC Plaza last Sunday, Nov. 13:

Best Picture—Ka Oryang

Best Director—Sari Dalena (Ka Oryang)

Best Actor—Bong Cabrera (Sa Ilalim ng Tulay)

Best Supporting Actor—Michael Bonapos (Sa Ilalim ng Tulay) and Jojit Lorenzo (Anatomiya ng Korupsyon)

Best Actress—Lilia Cuntapay (Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay) and Maricar Reyes (Anatomiya ng Korupsyon)

Best Supporting Actress—Geraldine Villamil (Six Degrees of Separation From Lilia Cuntapay)

Best Screenplay—Antoinette Jadaone (Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay)

Best Cinematography—Neil Daza and Kiri Dalena (Ka Oryang)

Best Editing—Leo Valencia (Six Degrees of Separation…) and Ruben Aquino (My Paranormal Romance)

Best Production Design—Kaloy Uypuanco (My Paranormal Romance)

Best Musical Score—Teresa Barrozo (Ka Oryang) and Ronald de Asis (Sa Ilalim ng Tulay)

Audience Award—Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay

Special Jury Prize—Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay and Mga Anino sa Tanghaling Tapat

Nora Aunor and Director Mario O’Hara were given Honorary Awards for Pioneering Efforts in Independent Cinema.

Films shown during the filmfest included: Sari Dalena’s Ka Oryang; Antoinette Jadaone’s Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay; Dennis Marasigan’s Anatomiya ng Korupsyon; Victor Villanueva’s My Paranormal Romance; Mes de Guzman’s Sa Kanto ng Ulap at Lupa; Brandon Relucio and Ivan Zaldarriaga’s Di Ingon Nato (Not Like Us); Ivy Universe Baldoza’s Mga Anino sa Tanghaling Tapat; Shireen Seno’s Big Boy; and Teng Mangansakan’s Cartas de la Soledad.
