Oli Laperal, RSVP Films head, was one of the resource speakers who lectured the participants on the complexity of the 3D camera and the intricacies of shooting with such camera.
Laperal’s lecture was supported by visual aids like charts, photos and video samples.
Another resource speaker, Ariel Reyes who studied filmmaking in Russia, encouraged the production of 3D movies by emphasizing the bigger returns in gross.
FSC president Sioson acted as moderator and documentarist aside from taking care of the schedule of activities. Sioson was thankful to the participants for their interest in cinematography.
Film director Jett Espiritu oversaw the participants’ on-hand project of producing a short movie which was their main output for the workshop.
To cap the workshop, RSVP Films invited the participants to edit their short 3D movie output at the RSVP post-productio9 studio in Makati City.
Under the aegis of the NCCA (National Commission for Culture and the Arts), the workshop was provided free accommodations by Janet Ballelos Resort whose manager Rolly Bernardo, was a former production designer.
