The Filipino Society of Cinematographers will conduct a three-day seminar on modern 3D cinematography on March 17 to 19. Interested FSC members and film school students may participate.
Sponsored by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the seminar-workshop will be held at the Janet Resthouse and Resort in Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas. The seminar can accommodate 30 participants on a first come first served basis.
Isagani F. Sioson, FSC president, said seminar participants will be able to handle Red digital cameras to shoot footages during the workshop’s hands-on exercises.
Sioson said that the FSC has been conducting seminar-workshop since 2003. These included seminars on modern cinematographic equipment (2003), digital video filming (2006), underwater cinematography (2009), and advanced cinematography from linear editing to kinescoping (2010).
He explained that the 3d imax seminar workshop is in keeping with the development in the fast-changing field of filmmaking expertise.
“Such seminars will ensure the fast turnover and development of professional cinematographers who are well versed on state-of-the-art knowledge on modern cinematographic equipment and even there computer adjuncts,” Sioson added.
For details, interested parties may personally report to the FSC office at the Film Academy of the Philippines complex on the ground floor of the OctoArts building on 108 Panay avenue, Q.C. (behind National Book Store on Quezon Avenue corner Scout Borromeo).
They can also call Mr. Sioson thru his cellphone 0915 2182461 or thru email email@example.com.
