The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) will hold a stakeholders’ meeting at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 28 at its multi-purpose hall on Sen. Gil Puyat avenue, Makati City.
IPOPHL Director General Ricardo R. Blancaflor apprised Film Academy of the Philippines Director General Leo G. Martinez in a letter that the IPO’s executive committee will discuss during the meeting its targets and plans for 2011.
Blancaflor said the Office is pleased to gather its valued stakeholders for a forum where its initiatives and deliverables will be presented.
The letter-invitation reads in part:
“These plans and programs have been designed to help realize our mission of being a knowledge-driven government organization that works towards economic, technological and socio-cultural development by communicating, enabling and ensuring the effective use of the IP system in all levels of society for the creation, protection, utilization and enforcement of intellectual property with the end in view of attaining our vision of an Intellectual Property-conscious Philippines in a demystified, development-oriented and democratized IP system by 2020.”
