CINEMALAYA 6 HANDS OUT AWARDS, GOES TO UP by fapweb  |  Posted in Articles  |  on Fri, Jul 23, 2010

After its awards night last Sunday, July 18, the Cinemalaya 6 went to the University of the Philippines for a nine-day series of film showings that started on Tuesday, July 20.

Thus, the UP campus in Diliman, Quezon City became the second stop after the Cultural Center complex hosted the filmfest. On its last day at the CCP, awards were handed out for the three filmfest categories—the Directors’ Showcase of five films megged by veteran directors, the New Breed category of 9 films by indie directors, and the Short Feature category.
