The Film Academy of the Philippines secretariat released the schedule for the final screening of the 14 films which received nominations for this year’s 23 rd FAP Awards (now known as Luna Awards).

The screenings will be held at the UP Film Institute Cinema (the former UP Film Center) in Diliman, Quezon City. The schedule is as follows:

May 2 (Monday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Spirit of the Glass, Octoarts Films, nominated for editing; and 1 to 3 p.m.— Panaghoy sa Suba, CM Films, nominated for picture, director, screenplay, cinematography, sound, music, supporting actor and supporting actress.

May 3 (Tuesday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Milan, Star Cinema, nominated for picture, director, cinematography, editing, production design, leading actor, leading actress and supporting actor; and 1 to 3 p.m.— I Will Survive, nominated for lead actress.

May 4 (Wednesday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Sabel , Regal Films, nominated for screenplay and lead actress; and 1 to 3 p.m. Naglalayag, Angora Films, nominated for picture, screenplay, sound, music, lead actor, lead actress and supporting actress.

May 5 (Thursday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Beautiful Life, Regal Films, nominated twice for supporting actress; and 1 to 3 p.m.– Feng Shui, Star Cinema, nominated for editing, production design, sound and music.

May 6 (Friday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Sigaw, Megavision Films, nominated for cinematography and editing; and 1 to 3 p.m.– Mano Po 3 My Love, MAQ Productions, nominated for screenplay, lead actor, lead actress and supporting actor.

May 9 (Monday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Pasiyam, Reality Entertainment Inc., nominated for director; and 1 to 3 p.m.– Aisheti Imasu 1941, Bas Films, nominated for picture, director, editing, production design, sound, music, leading actor and supporting actor.

May 10 (Tuesday) 10 a.m. to 12 noon— Kulimlim, Viva Films, nominated for sound; and 1 to 3 p.m.— Santa Santita, Unitel Productions, nominated for picture, director, screenplay, production design, music, lead actor, supporting actor and supporting actress.

The final voting is scheduled on May 11 (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., also at the lobby of the UP Film Institute Cinema.

Inasmuch as the UP Institute Cinema has an 800-seating capacity, the FAP has decided to open the screening to public viewing, especially for students and film enthusiasts. This will enable the general public to review the Academy’s choices.
