Optima Digital will hold a three-hour special screening that will show 35mm prints from different camera sources to enable directors and filmmakers to consult experts regarding these cameras and post-production workflows.
The screenings will be held at the Premier Cinema at Shangri-la EDSA on Thursday, June 25, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All members of the Directors Guild of the Philippines, the Philippine Motion Picture Directors Association and indie film organizations are invited to the event.
The screening will seek to answer the often asked question of how shots from different camera sources will look when projected in cinema via 35mm film prints. Participants will be able to see and compare the cinematic quality of footages shot from cameras like RED One camera, the ARRI-D21, the Panasonic Varicam, the Sony F950, the Panasonic HVX 200 (P2). OAlsoe included are footages from the ultra-high speed camera, the Phantom
Also present are experts from Optima Digital, Opticolors Film Lab, Unitel productions, Unico Entertainment and CMB to provide in-depth consultations for possible movie productions. Also invited are producers, cinematographers, studio executives and film enthusiasts.
